About Pangbourne

Pangbourne

Pangbourne on Thames is a Berkshire village steeped in history that dates back to AD 844 (probably even earlier but that's the earliest recorded date). If you're interested in history there's lots to see.

The author of the Wind in The Willows - Kenneth Graham - lived in Pangbourne, and the River Thames was believed to have been his inspiration for the stories  so well loved by all generations.

If you're visiting Pangbourne, why not pop into Posha to have a drink and bite to eat either before or during your exploration of the village? We have some useful leaflets in the coffee shop that may interest you.
